Literacy Project in NW Pakistan

Annie B’s Community Drive

Pakistan has the second lowest literacy rate in the world. A university student and I started the Open Doors Literacy Project to teach illiterate children and a few of their mothers. It’s in NW, near Peshawar, where US drones have harmed civilians. This is a good way to balance out views about Americans there. Please help us keep the doors open in areas where there are no government schools, or no schools for girls. See photos of the students and their teacher on our website.
